Special Issue Introduction
Minimally invasive thoracic surgery is a way of performing surgery in the chest through small incisions, without making large cuts or incisions in the body, and the ribs do not require spreading apart. The last decade brought up modern technical approaches to thoracic disorders. The overall aim of this Special Issue is to present and discuss controversial issues, emerging techniques, advantages, technical considerations and future directions in minimally invasive thoracic surgery.
