Minimally invasive surgery continues to evolve, specially regarding rectal surgery, developing two camps, a laparoscopic or robotic approach.
A clear superiority has not been clearly defined yet, and it is interesting to explore the advantages or disadvantages of this technique for short-term or long-term results.
